North, East Federation of Chamber of ICT is an organization that was built to empower communities through technology! We are a non-profit ambitious association aims to allow the society, region and our motherland through assisting them in growing and achieving their IT, ICT, and technology requirements.
As an initiative of the NEFCICT’s Batticaloa Chapter, we’ve designed a one-day acceleration program called “Startup Toolkit” for the HND in IT / Business Management students and few interested self-employers and those who are seeking an opportunity to scale up their business to next level.
The program “Startup Toolkit” was designed with the intention to connect the like-minded people, share the knowledge and explore the gaps and find the best fixes for the issues. It’s was a one-day program with smart lectures and one to one interactive sessions with the industry experts as mentors.
The organizing team bring the industry experts on board in order to enrich the event. Mr. Muhammed Fawaz was invited as a lead facilitator along with Ms. Amra who both are well known in the startup scean in Sri Lanka – Entrepreneurship Development eco system. They both took the major role in facilitating the business plan development and Mr. Jude Delakshan who is a Head – Risks and Fraud at Earns and Young (EY) – International Audit firm operates in Sri Lanka delivered a lecturer about Legal, Trademark and Partnership conflicts in the Business.
Mr. S. Jeyapalan who is a Director of SLIATE was invited to deliver a speech about Entrepreneurship in Eastern Province and It’s trend. The Chief Guest Mr. Pushpaharan was delivered a speech about taking your business with Innovative Marketing Strategies (IMS) to the next level.
This event was organized by the Batticaloa chapter team members including the District Director – Mr. Rajeevkanth, Executive Directors – Mr. Mayuran, Mr. Mazahim, Mr. Gajan and Mr. Kajan Subash.
